IB TOK: To what extent is our sense perception a reliable source of knowledge?

Change blindness is our inability to notice changes. If we are distracted or concentrating on something else, we may not notice what is right in front of us. This clip demonstrates the ‘door study’ by Daniel Simons and Daniel Levin. Does it follow that our senses are limited as a source of knowledge?
